Sometimes

Sometimes I run away from myself
Sometimes I run away from you
I can't handle not being with you
When you're there I feel save
It's just nice being with you
I want to know everything about you
But it's up to you to take the first step
There are so many girls around you
I don't want to be just one more
I want to be either the one
or nothing at all
No more compromises
This is serious
This is about the future
It's nothing I want to rush in
But I'm scared that if I don't make a move
I might miss the chance of my life
Trust is so hard when you're burning inside
And then people say that I'm cool
Burning ice, that's all I am
I want to be with you
I want you to know it without having to tell you

S Gedicht findi absolut stark! Dänk ich cha dini Situation ziemlich guet nochvollzieh... Hoff dass die beträffendi Person das Gedicht au liest!

Ok I'm reading a little about Swiss-German and I understand that there are different dialects... I assume you speak Boslch Ditsch, Simone? Well can you understand other dialects like Zueriduetsch?

And is it true that you say "Schaafseckel" to people who have done something silly? That's rather harsh! And do you say "du bisch en Siech" if someone does something well? Doesn't that mean "you are a leper"? Man I'm confused, I'm going to bed!!!

Si, thanks for that wicked translation. Ma dialect is called Baselbieterdialäkt. The words you wrote down are in Züridütsch and they have a horrible dialect, I do understand it easily but I don't like it. So I would say "Schoofseckäl", I think I have to teach you some nice words next week :-)

Yes Simon(e), Züridütsch is a horrible dialect but not the worst. But the really bad thing ist that not only Züridütsch is awful, but often the people are... well, let's say "not on my wavelengtht". Can you say this in English?

IMO, even the Baseldytsch which is spoken in the city of Basel is not very beuatiful. Not to compare with the Baselbieterdütsch spoken by Simone and me.

And yes, we do understand all the Swiss dialects as long as they are based on the German language. But some of our dialects, first of all the Wallisertitsch, are quite tricky!
