Time - where have you gone

Ok, I thought, the the will come where I have time to sit down and write this. Didn't happen - so now I have to do this, even though there's a pile of work right next to me ;-)
So much has happened the last few weeks. A friend told me lately, that when she looks at my life, it seems like time flys bye - yep, I know what she means. Here we go:

Weddings & England:
My favorite wedding until now was the one of my best friend. In a way it was hard to see him getting married, but I love his wife and I know the belong together. But there's another great wedding to come... James, I hope you're ready ;-) From the 5th - 10th July I will be in England, so guys, I hope you'll have some time to hang out with me and update me face to face on what you're doing. I'm looking forward to come back, it feels like going home!

Work:
TeenStreet is coming closer, so there's more and more work. I love it, I need the preassure I guess. Switchfoot will play at TeenStreet, I'm really excited about that. Working in the office is fun, too. I like my collegues, we joke a lot together.

Youthwork:
My team at church will restructure, very cool. I spend more and more time with the youthplanet people, their so much fun.

Counseling course:
About two weeks ago part 2 took place. We learned about the different characters. Great stuff. Now I try not to analyse everyone I meet ;-)But I also do work on my character - there's so much to do and I really need God's help there. I know that I can't do it without him. Lately I did have my struggles with God, I try to figure out, what my calling is, where I should be (what job, what country). He knows it and I keep on asking him, why he doesn't just tell me. Maybe because I don't really listen...

Everything else:
I bought a new bike, I'ts a GT, like the old one. Summer finally has started and it's really hot - we have up to 30°C, sometimes even more. So on my days off I hang at the river side or in a park. Last weekend we went dancing. Drum'n Base meats Indie. Special combination, but fun. I thought I got the practise my Swiss dancing, so that I can impress the english once more ;-)
FOOTBALL... The nation went crazy. Everyone is proud that we made it so far in the world cup. Yesterday the team came home and about 5000 people went to welcome them. That's what I love about the Swiss: They fight, they are fierce and they are faithful (of course not everyone, everywhere)

Woops, got to leave soon... Man, I love summer :-)

I'm glad everything is going good and you're coming to visit, does it always take a wedding for you to fly over!?

You might have to find me a job at TeenStreet so I can watch Switchfoot, I love that band!
I'll do anything that doesn't involve having to talk with people... what are my chances?
